The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delaghomba swinging wildly here.
Delaghomba looks to land a right hand but Gielgud moved out of range.
Teofil Gielgud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Delaghomba throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Delaghomba doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gielgud tries a low kick but Delaghomba avoids it.
Delaghomba is looking for the big counter here.
Delaghomba throws a lazy head kick
enabling Gielgud to counter with a crisp jab.
Delaghomba on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Biete Delaghomba has been cut.
Delaghomba wants to slow Gielgud down by chopping away at his legs.
Gielgud throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Delaghomba lands a jab.
Delaghomba lands a leg kick that knocks Gielgud off balance momentarily.
Gielgud throws out a powerful jab.

Gielgud thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gielgud looks to land a right hand but Delaghomba moved out of range.
Delaghomba pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gielgud is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Delaghomba just misses with a punch to the body.
An inside leg kick from Delaghomba misses.
Gielgud connects with a good right hand that stumbles Delaghomba. Delaghomba circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Oooooh!!! Gielgud has knocked Delaghomba down with a huge combo! Gielgud steps away and waves a wobbly Delaghomba back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Delaghomba is rocked!
Gielgud throws an uppercut from hell that sends Delaghomba clean off his feet! He's out cold! Gielgud stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
