Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White fails with the takedown. Gein tries to clinch there but White circles away.
Gein tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gein is looking to clinch but White is avoiding it.
White has a takedown stuffed. Gein throws a right and a left that White avoids nicely. White fails to land the takedown. Ed Gein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob White. Gein tries to clinch up but White circles away and keeps his distance. White should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Nice takedown defense from Gein. No joy for White on that attempt. Gein tries to clinch but White moves out of range. White circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gein wants to clinch up but White keeps it at a distance. Gein is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gein tries to clinch there but White circles away.

White shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ed Gein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Gein looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gein gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Gein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. White throws a wild combination but nothing lands. White shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gein as he avoids it easily. Gein fails with an attempt to clinch.
White closes the distance and clinches up with Gein, looking for a takedown. White pushes Gein against the cage but Gein circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gein tries to clinch but White is having none of it. Gein falls off balance throwing a combination
and White counters with a single leg into guard. Gein didn't expect that. Gein is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gein is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. White looks gassed! Gein using the Thai plumb to throw knees but White has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
White doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gein throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but White blocks it with crossed arms. White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. White looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gein! Gein tries to hold on but White pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gein tries to buck White off but he can't manage it. Gein really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Gein tries to buck White off but White takes his back! White lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by White.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gein looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Gein tries to break free.

That's three minutes gone in the round. White is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gein defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. White is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Gein is defending well though. White let's go of the attempt for now. What can Gein do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gein holding both White 's hands and preventing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Gein right now.
White working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Gein is doing well to defend. White seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Gein is forced to tap and this one is over!
