Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kook Kane (ranked 3319 p4p, 3224 weight class) and Richard Glass (ranked 477 p4p, 463 weight class). Richard Glass has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kook Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Glass! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane scores with a body shot.
Glass looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kane looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kane lands a slapping body shot.
Good shot there by Kane. Kane fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Glass to the ground. Kane is now in Glass's guard. Kane looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane stops Glass from standing up. Kane is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Glass is wriggling around but Kane manages to pass to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kane connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Horrible takedown attempt by Kane or perhaps it was just good defense by Glass, which made it look bad. Kane moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromGlass. Kane throws the left hand but Glass avoids the punch easily. A countering left hand to the body from Glass misses. Kane tries for a takedown but Glass sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kook Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Glass throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kane works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kane shoots in looking for a takedown but Glass manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kane's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glass throws a body shot but no joy. Kane scores with a nice head shot. Glass slips under a jab. Glass now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Kane fails with the takedown. Kane shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Glass is trying to defend but Kane finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kane is pressing down on Glass's thigh, looking to free his foot. Glass is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Glass defends it well. Kane is taking a breather. Glass says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kane is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kane slows the pace down in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kook Kane dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Glass throws a right hand that misses
and Kane counters with a nice double leg into side control. Glass won't be happy with that. Kane has knee on belly and moves into mount. Kane is working for a guillotine from mount but Glass frees his head quite easily.
Kane controlling from the full mount. Kane's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kook Kane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glass is trying to stand up. Kane with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kane is looking to work his way around to Glass's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Kane looking to control and managing it successfully. Kane landing punches. Kane tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kane is working for a guillotine from mount but Glass frees his head quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane looking to control and managing it successfully. Kane is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Glass can do to turn this around? Glass tries to buck Kane off but he can't manage it. Kane controlling from the full mount. Kane working for a submission but Glass is keeping him at bay. Kane controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Further stalling from Kane. Glass really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Glass is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Kane with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Kane is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Glass can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane looking to control and managing it successfully. Kane connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Glass is trying to stand but he's just given Kane his back. Kane controlling from the back. Glass is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Kane off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Glass wants to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Good control from Kane. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kook Kane dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Kane motions for Glass to come forward. Kane throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Glass has time to react. A looping hook to the body misses from Kane. Glass does a little dance to reset his feet. Kane looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kane shoots in but no luck this time. Kook Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kane throws a hook to the side of Glass's head but Glass sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Glass ducks under a wild hook from Kane. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glass connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kane. Kane circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Kook Kane has been cut. Kane shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kane fails with a takedown attempt. As Kane backs off Glass throws a huge counter combo but Kane manages to avoid it all. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kook Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Glass stuffs the takedown attempt from Kane. Kane gets slowly back to his feet. Glass uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kane. It seemed like Glass was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Kane cracks a nice hook into Glass's ribs. Kane closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kane lands in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glass wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kane manages to pass to side control. Kane frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Richard Glass has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kane takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Glass tries to buck Kane off so he can stand up but Kane has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Glass falls backwards, slamming Kane to the mat but Kane holds on tight! Glass is forced to tap and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kook Kane!
