Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Hitchcock (ranked 4700 p4p, 4410 weight class) and Merab Sunkist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitchcock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Hitchcock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Merab Sunkist! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sunkist dives in and grabs Hitchcock's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hitchcock pushes down on Sunkist's head and hops out. Hitchcock is looking to land body kicks. Sunkist tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Sunkist throws a right and a left that Hitchcock avoids nicely. Hitchcock throws a head kick that misses. Sunkist tries to close the distance and clinch but Hitchcock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sunkist moves into the clinch. Sunkist breaks from the clinch.
Sunkist doesn't manage to clinch there - Hitchcock circles away.
Hitchcock scores with a one two! Sunkist had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Merab Sunkist has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sunkist tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hitchcock paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hitchcock throws a right hand that Sunkist ducks under and follows up with a left that Sunkist also avoids with ease. Hitchcock stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hitchcock wants it to stay on the feet. Hitchcock misses with a few strikes there.
Hitchcock is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sunkist.
It looks like David Hitchcock has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hitchcock throws a nice inside leg kick. Sunkist looks for a takedown but Hitchcock sprawls well. David Hitchcock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Merab Sunkist. Sunkist tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hitchcock throws a right and a left that Sunkist avoids nicely. Sunkist is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Sunkist dives in for a single leg takedown but Hitchcock sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hitchcock seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Sunkist misses with a double jab
and Hitchcock counters with a crisp one two that drops Sunkist! Hitchcock thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sunkist to his feet! Sunkist is in big trouble!
Sunkist is rocked! BAM! Hitchcock delivers a spinning backfist that drops Sunkist like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
