Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Gyllenhall (ranked 4332 p4p, 4305 weight class) and Scott Johannes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Gyllenhall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Johannes! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gyllenhall dives in and grabs Johannes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johannes pushes down on Gyllenhall's head and hops out. Johannes drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Gyllenhall defends it well. A punch combination from Johannes misses. Gyllenhall is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Johannes now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Gyllenhall tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Johannes defends well and Gyllenhall ends up having to push Johannes into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gyllenhall keeps control of Johannes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Johannes jumps guard and drags Gyllenhall to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Gyllenhall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gyllenhall throwing strikes from guard but Johannes blocks nicely. Johannes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gyllenhall drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Johannes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gyllenhall has Johannes in his guard.
Gyllenhall looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gyllenhall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johannes's guard.

Johannes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gyllenhall to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Johannes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gyllenhall pulls down on the head and he's put Johannes to sleep! This one is all over!
