Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaiden Walsh (ranked 1463 p4p, 2883 weight class) and Hal Hawkes (ranked 188 p4p, 369 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaiden Walsh! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hal Hawkes! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawkes lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Walsh backs up against the cage.
Walsh jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hawkes on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hawkes cracks Walsh with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Kaiden Walsh has been cut. Hawkes scores with a hook.
Walsh is rocked! Kaiden Walsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hawkes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Walsh throws out the jab. Oh Walsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hawkes moves out of range as Walsh strikes. Walsh seems to have got his legs back now. Walsh lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Walsh throws a right hand that misses
and Hawkes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hawkes misses with a body shot.
Walsh throws a looping overhand right but Hawkes ducks down to avoid it. A jab from Walsh finds it's way through Hawkes's defenses.
Hawkes is rocked!
It looks like Hal Hawkes has been cut. Hawkes leaves his chin hanging out and Walsh seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hawkes crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kaiden Walsh! Kaiden Walsh retains his welterweight title! Kaiden Walsh seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
