PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaiso Rayhi (ranked 3941 p4p, 6043 weight class) and Evan Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Evan Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Rayhi counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Rayhi 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rayhi . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rayhi is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wilson can't fight it off and eventually Rayhi manages to take the fight to the floor. Wilson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rayhi is working Wilson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rayhi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Wilson gets tackled into the cage by Rayhi . Rayhi maintains the clinch.
Rayhi will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Wilson up against the cage.

Rayhi turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rayhi manages to end up in side control.
