This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 14 losses; Jacque Joteel! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 21 wins and 24 losses; Long Wang! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Wang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wang has a takedown stuffed. Wang gets in close and instigates a clinch. Joteel fails to pull guard.
Joteel is trying to pull guard but Wang turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Joteel is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wang is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Joteel to the mat. Joteel regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. It's a sloppy attempt though and Wang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wang thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wang passes Joteel's left leg - he's now in half guard. Wang looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wang is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Joteel defends it well. Wang is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Joteel has control of Wang's left arm, preventing Wang from doing any damage. Joteel wants to sweep here but Wang controlling him for the moment. Wang passes Joteel's left leg - he's now in half guard. Joteel wants to get back to full guard. Wang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Joteel doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wang. Joteel makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Joteel. Wang advances position into side control! No, Joteel has escaped the position, nice work there. Wang is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Joteel looks calm but he's in trouble here. Wang gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Joteel is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Wang lets go of the hold and Joteel can pop his arm back in it's socket.
