And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nerko Bajramovic!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bajramovic scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Bajramovic steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Googers. That one must have hurt.
Googers shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bajramovic looks winded!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Googers connects with a nice short shot to Bajramovic's temple.
Googers lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bajramovic quite badly. Bajramovic pulls Googers in close trying to recover. Googers postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bajramovic on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bajramovic doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Googers!
David Googers decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
