Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rasmus Karhu (ranked 530 p4p, 1268 weight class) and Lieutenant Nog (ranked 89 p4p, 212 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nog's choice of entrance music: House of Pain - Put on Your Shit Kickers. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rasmus Karhu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lieutenant Nog! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nog connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Rasmus Karhu has been cut. Nog bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. We've been told by Karhu's head coaches at Helsinki Private Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Karhu punishes Nog's body with a nice straight punch. Karhu misses with a right hand and Nog counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Karhu throws a sloppy body shot
and Nog counters with a nice uppercut. Karhu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nog needs to keep his hands up - Karhu had a free shot at his head there. Karhu misses with a left hand and Nog counters with a lovely straight right hand! Karhu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nog's hands. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Donk. Nog catches Karhu right on the button with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karhu throws an off balance right hand
and Nog cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nog misses with an uppercut. Karhu jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Lieutenant Nog has been cut. Karhu connects with a right hand. Nog shakes it off. Nog misses with a lunging right hand
and Karhu counters with a crisp right hand that drops Nog! Karhu lets Nog back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Nog is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Karhu looks to throw the jab but Nog is out of range. It seemed like Nog was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nog moves out of range as Karhu strikes. Karhu throws an overhand right that lands on Nog's shoulder, as Nog tries to avoid the shot. Karhu misses with a hook. Nog uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Karhu. Nog shapes to counter with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nog missing with a left hand there. Karhu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Karhu was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Good shot there by Karhu. Nog paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Karhu throws a looping overhand right but Nog ducks down to avoid it. Karhu tries to clinch up but Nog circles away and keeps his distance. A nice side step and Nog releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Nog misses with a hook. Karhu lands a jab. Nog fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A counter left hand to the body from Karhu misses its target. Decent striking displayed by Nog there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big left from Karhu misses. Karhu looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Nog misses with a hook to the body
and Karhu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nog with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Karhu to score with a decent uppercut. Karhu throws a body punch but Nog moves out of range. Karhu takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nog swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nog looks to score with a jab to the body but Karhu is just out of range. Karhu looks to land a left hand but Nog moved out of range nicely. Nog scores with a nice strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nog drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Karhu right on the button. Karhu goes down! Nog follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Nog gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lieutenant Nog! Lieutenant Nog seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
