Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gracie Zanchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Andre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zanchi.
Paulo Andre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Andre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Andre throws a head kick but Zanchi moves out of range.
Andre fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Zanchi.

Andre throws a leg kick which misses Zanchi's front leg but catches the back leg as Zanchi tries to avoid it.

Zanchi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Andre is trying to defend but Zanchi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Zanchi jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Andre manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Zanchi tries for a kimura but Andre is defending well.
Andre is trying to buck Zanchi off.
Andre sneaks out the side door and pushes Zanchi away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Zanchi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Andre. Andre obviously looking to wear him down.
Andre stuffs the takedown attempt from Zanchi. Zanchi gets slowly back to his feet.
A head kick from Andre lands but Zanchi takes it in his stride.
Andre lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Andre goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Zanchi is breathing heavily.
Andre looks to land a combination but Zanchi avoids it well.
Andre rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zanchi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Andre lands a jab-cross combination.
Andre is working the combinations to good effect here.
Andre throws a right and a left that both miss.
Andre throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Zanchi's head.
Andre turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Andre lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Zanchi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Andre tries to bum rush Zanchi with a series of wild strikes but Zanchi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Andre lands with a slapping head kick.

Andre looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Andre stalks Zanchi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zanchi's face. Zanchi staggers backwards, shaken.
Andre lands a head kick. Zanchi smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Andre works over Zanchi's head and body with a nice combination.
Zanchi is rocked!
Zanchi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oh Zanchi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Andre looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Zanchi seems to have got his legs back now.
Andre lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zanchi avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paulo Andre dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Zanchi fails with a takedown attempt.
Zanchi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Andre's waist but Andre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zanchi off to one side.
A left and a right from Andre both land. Nice combination.
Zanchi shoots in for a takedown but Andre shows good takedown defense.

Andre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Andre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Zanchi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Andre as he avoids it easily.

Andre looks to land a combination. Zanchi sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Andre throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Zanchi.

Andre closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Zanchi slips a jab and a cross from Andre.

Andre lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zanchi circles away quickly and effectively.
Andre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Andre lands with a kick to the temple. Zanchi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Andre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zanchi avoids the head kick by Andre.
Andre looks to land a combination. Zanchi sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Andre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Andre throws a head kick that Zanchi semi-blocks.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Andre! Zanchi is out on his feet! Andre rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Zanchi is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Zanchi is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
