Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 23 - 0, fighting out of London, Hristo Borisov!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Borisov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pawlikowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Borisov has managed to get both his arms back between Pawlikowski's legs - danger averted.
Pawlikowski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Pawlikowski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pawlikowski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Borisov's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Borisov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pawlikowski is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Borisov defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Pawlikowski is looking for the choke from the back position but Borisov is controlling his hands well.

Borisov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pawlikowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pawlikowski is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Borisov to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Borisov shrugs it off.

Pawlikowski cracks Borisov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Borisov is working to get back to half guard.
Borisov tries to hold on but Pawlikowski pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Borisov is still in real trouble! Can Pawlikowski finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pawlikowski softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Borisov is out cold! Pawlikowski jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Pawlikowski!
