Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hristo Borisov (ranked 5698 p4p, 24407 weight class) and Takashi Minoko (ranked 628 p4p, 660 weight class). Hristo Borisov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, Hristo Borisov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takashi Minoko! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borisov wants to clinch up but Minoko keeps it at a distance. Minoko gets caught napping as Borisov dives in and scores a takedown. Minoko manages to retain guard. Borisov's corner is telling him to maintain position. Minoko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Borisov is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Borisov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Borisov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Borisov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Minoko's guard. Borisov controlling the action here. Borisov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Minoko trying to control from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Borisov is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Borisov prevents Minoko from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Borisov is thwarting Minoko's attempts to control the position. Borisov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Minoko throws a series of strikes that have Borisov backpedaling.
Minoko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Borisov tries to avoid it but Minoko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Borisov to the ground. Borisov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Minoko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Borisov passes into half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Borisov slows the pace down in half guard. Borisov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Borisov is looking for a kimura but Minoko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Borisov to get the leverage. Borisov is controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Borisov is trying for a kimura here. Minoko looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Borisov wins by kimura!
