Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Hofmann (ranked 1286 p4p, 1393 weight class) and Darby Ellington (ranked 169 p4p, 186 weight class). Hofmann comes to the cage accompanied by Primer 55 - Dose. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Albert Hofmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darby Ellington!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hofmann takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ellington jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hofmann tries to counter with a takedown but Ellington is quick to defend against it.
Ellington misses with a jab to the body
and Hofmann counters with a left to the body.
Ellington takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Ellington fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hofmann looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ellington thuds his right hand into Hofmann's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That was a close round but I would say that Albert Hofmann will probably get the nod.
