Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donovan Lang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marc Tong Panong!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang misses with a combination
enabling Tong Panong to counter with a crisp jab.
Tong Panong takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lang lands a glancing blow to the side of Tong Panong's head.
Lang keeps the fight on the outside.
Lang is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Tong Panong shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lang manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lang is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Ludus Magnus that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tong Panong is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Tong Panong tries to free his leg and advance position but Lang is retaining full guard.

and Lang counters with a stiff right hand.
Lang works Tong Panong's body with a nice hook.

Lang lands a left and a right that send Tong Panong crashing to the mat, dazed. Lang thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Donovan Lang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tong Panong moves out of range of the strikes.

Tong Panong is rocked!
Lang ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Tong Panong's jaw. Tong Panong's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Lang does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Donovan Lang!
Marc Tong Panong was interviewed post fight and said 'the guy did not do anything else than few lucky shots...'.
