Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Euan Daxton (ranked 678 p4p, 5715 weight class) and Javier Jesus (ranked 100 p4p, 0 weight class). Euan Daxton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Euan Daxton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Javier Jesus ! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jesus throws a series of punches but Daxton avoids them all with ease. Jesus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Daxton avoids it really well and circles away. Jesus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jesus fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Daxton to the ground. Jesus is now in Daxton's guard. Daxton keeping full guard, as Jesus tries to pass. Daxton is pulling down on Jesus 's head. It's preventing any offense from Jesus , at least for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daxton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daxton controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daxton tries to land a sweep but no joy. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Daxton holds on and takes a little breather. Daxton working for a triangle but Jesus defends it easily.
Daxton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jesus trying to hold on to Daxton's head to control him but Daxton postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daxton is working for a kimura but Jesus is defending it quite comfortably.
Daxton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jesus gets full guard. Daxton passes Jesus 's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jesus looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daxton is looking for a kimura but Jesus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Daxton to get the leverage. Jesus is trying to stand up here but Daxton is controlling him well. Daxton wants to work for an arm triangle but Jesus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Daxton trying to control from half guard but Jesus is working away. Still in half guard, Daxton seems content to control. Daxton is working for a submission of some sort.
Jesus wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daxton wants to take a breather but Jesus is having none of it. Daxton looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Daxton seems to be looking for submissions.
Daxton maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Jesus could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Daxton has cracked it and Jesus is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Daxton!
