Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomo Tsuru (ranked 1783 p4p, 1977 weight class) and Leonard Read (ranked 279 p4p, 308 weight class). Leonard Read told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Read fails to land with a series of punches.

Read gets tackled into the cage by Tsuru. Tsuru maintains the clinch.
Read manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Tsuru lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Read backwards.
I was talking to Tsuru's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Read is trying to stall.
Tsuru prevents a takedown attempt there.

Read creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Read has Tsuru pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Read pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tsuru tumbling to the mat - Read dives into Tsuru's guard.
