Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Las Vegas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roid Rager Ii!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vegas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Vegas wants to control from the top but Rager Ii keeps moving.
Vegas advances position into side control!
Rager Ii is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rager Ii avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Vegas.
Vegas is putting a hurting on Rager Ii here, landing some big shots from side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
You can see the frustration on Rager Ii's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sloppy strikes there by Vegas.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rager Ii tries to buck Vegas off but Vegas is having none of it.
Vegas tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Rager Ii regains half guard there - taking advantage of Vegas's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Rager Ii felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Vegas not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Vegas frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Vegas looking to ground and pound but Rager Ii is blocking nicely.
Rager Ii is squirming around, avoiding Vegas's attempts to control the action.
Rager Ii is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vegas looking to control and managing it successfully.
Vegas trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Vegas misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rager Ii really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Rager Ii takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

It looks like Roid Rager Ii has been cut.
Vegas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Vegas sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Rager Ii is desperately trying to improve his position but Vegas has a good base and remains in mount.
Vegas throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Vegas is in the full mount, landing strikes.

That has opened up Roid Rager Ii's cut even more.
Rager Ii tries to lock up and control but Vegas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rager Ii wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Vegas.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Vegas tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Vegas in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

The cut above Roid Rager Ii's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Roid Rager Ii's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Las Vegas!
Our winner, Las Vegas, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
