Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Leer (ranked 1466 p4p, 1895 weight class) and Henry Shewmaker (ranked 75 p4p, 106 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fred Leer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Henry Shewmaker! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shewmaker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shewmaker is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Leer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shewmaker steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Leer. That one must have hurt. Shewmaker lands a right hook to the body.
Leer needs to keep his hands up - Shewmaker had a free shot at his head there. Leer feints and then cracks Shewmaker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shewmaker down. Shewmaker looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leer misses with an attempted mid kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Shewmaker scores with a jab. Leer acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Leer takes a swing at Shewmaker's ribcage but misses. Leer throws a body kick that misses and Shewmaker counters with a crisp right hand that drops Leer! Shewmaker lets Leer back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Fred Leer has been cut. Leer misses with a wild body shot. As Leer backs off Shewmaker throws a huge counter combo but Leer manages to avoid it all. Leer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shewmaker throws out a counter right but Leer avoids it with no problem. Shewmaker feints with a jab and clips Leer right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Leer is sent crashing into the canvas and Shewmaker leaps in for the kill! Leer tries to get to his feet but Shewmaker is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Leer is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henry Shewmaker! In his post fight interview, Henry Shewmaker started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
