PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeducous Zarandous (ranked 3505 p4p, 486 weight class) and Tokoni Soaki (ranked 173 p4p, 27 weight class). Soaki has chosen Shepherds Reign - Le Manu as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soaki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Zarandous throws a right hand that Soaki ducks under and follows up with a left that Soaki also avoids with ease.
Soaki uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zarandous.
And Soaki tries to counter it with a takedown but Zarandous pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Zarandous just misses with a punch to the body.
Zarandous throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Soaki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A left lands for Zarandous.
Zarandous moves out of range as Soaki strikes.
Zarandous connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Soaki looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Zarandous cracks Soaki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Tokoni Soaki has been cut.

Zarandous shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Soaki eats them both and turns towards Zarandous to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zarandous is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Soaki takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The fight stays on the outside here - Soaki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Soaki fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zarandous looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Soaki is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Soaki checks a leg kick.
Soaki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zarandous tries to avoid it but Soaki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zarandous to the ground. Zarandous escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zeducous Zarandous has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tokoni Soaki.
