And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Deanthony Pederson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaines swings for the body but Pederson moves out of range.
Pederson just misses with a punch to the body.
Gaines jabs at Pederson's body.
Pederson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pederson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Gaines counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pederson misses the shot to the body.

and Gaines counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pederson throws a body punch but Gaines moves out of range.
Pederson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pederson showed some decent athleticism there.

Pederson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Gaines is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

A less than humble Deanthony Pederson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
