Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Leo Pard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Muhammad Watts!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watts throws a hook but Pard blocks it.
Pard throws a head kick that misses.
Watts misses with an uppercut
and Pard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A little jabbing left from Watts on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Pard misses with a jab to the body
and Watts counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Watts connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Pard checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Watts avoids the head kick by Pard.
Pard scores with a nice body kick.
Watts comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Watts bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

and Watts holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Our sources have told us that Pard has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are getting on Watts's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Watts dips a shoulder and cracks Pard with a mighty uppercut! Pard falls back against the cage and Watts unloads with a barrage of strikes! Pard is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Watts screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Muhammad Watts!
