Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Bones (ranked 4300 p4p, 4322 weight class) and Selmir Emkic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fortnite Battlepass. Selmir Emkic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bones in particular looking to stall.

Bones decides to stand up.
Emkic falls off balance throwing a combination

and Bones counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Bones's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Emkic has momentary wrist control but Bones slips an elbow through the middle.
Bones connects with a couple of short punches.

Emkic is rocked!
Bones loads up on a big left hand. Emkic felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bones looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Emkic can't hide his disappointment, as Bones celebrates the victory.
