Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24267 p4p, 24290 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 32 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 28 - 27 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mibangon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Buut throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Mibangon makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Buut really felt that one! Mibangon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buut as he jumps to the side. Buut is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Let's hope that Buut has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mibangon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mibangon leaves Buut with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mibangon goes for a double leg but Buut avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buut continues to drive forward. Mibangon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Buut avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. We're back to striking at a distance. Mibangon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mibangon shoots in looking for a takedown. Buut tries to sprawl out of it but Mibangon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buut manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Buut looking to score a takedown here. Mibangon is defending well but Buut drives through and ends up in Mibangon's guard. Mibangon controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon has his hands clasped together around Buut's back. He's all about the action. Buut perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Walay Buut has got the better of the ground game so far. Mibangon trying to control from the bottom.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mibangon can't fight it off and eventually Buut manages to take the fight to the floor. Mibangon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Walay Buut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Buut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
