With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Gyllenhall!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carboza tries to close the distance and clinch but Gyllenhall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gyllenhall fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Gyllenhall throws a nice looking combination but Carboza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Carboza is looking to clinch but Gyllenhall is avoiding it.
Gyllenhall tries to bum rush Carboza with a series of wild strikes but Carboza uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gyllenhall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Gyllenhall counters with a shoot takedown. Carboza fights it but they end up in guard.
Carboza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gyllenhall on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carboza wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gyllenhall manages to pass to side control.

Gyllenhall wants to work for an arm triangle but Carboza is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gyllenhall lands a nice short elbow.
