Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Spinner (ranked 4046 p4p, 24923 weight class) and Cam Britton (ranked 442 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Spinner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cam Britton!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Britton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Spinner's waist but Spinner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Britton off to one side.
Britton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Spinner throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Cam Britton has been cut.
Spinner tries a head kick but it misses.
Britton goes for a double leg but Spinner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Spinner continues to drive forward.
Some wild striking there from Spinner.
Spinner jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Spinner lands a body shot.
Britton slips a jab and a cross from Spinner.
Spinner lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spinner misses with the combination.
Spinner scores with a body shot.
Spinner goes for a double leg but Britton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Britton continues to drive forward.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spinner has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Britton after a bit of a struggle.

Spinner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Spinner scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Spinner drops Britton with a beautiful combination! Britton stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Spinner is looking for the KO!

Britton is rocked!
Spinner cracks Britton with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Britton tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Spinner pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Britton is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Spinner!
James Spinner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
