Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Allen (ranked 4399 p4p, 3483 weight class) and Kisane Xushu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kisane Xushu!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen wants to clinch.
Xushu shoots in and bounces Allen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Xushu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xushu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Xushu drops back looking for a leg! Allen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Allen manages to kick Xushu off! Xushu jumps back into Allen's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Xushu's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Xushu is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Allen is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
