0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Doe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Duquette! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duquette has Doe up against the cage in a clinch.
Doe has a couple of punches blocked by Duquette.
Duquette is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Duquette's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. No joy there for Doe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

so Duquette counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duquette postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Doe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doe pushes Duquette off and gets back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
