Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler James Sharples (ranked 4049 p4p, 24253 weight class) and Un Kha (ranked 560 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kha's choice of entrance music: Eye of the tiger. Un Kha has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler James Sharples! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Un Kha! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharples scores with a one two! Kha had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kha fails with a takedown attempt. Sharples shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kha napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kha throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sharples looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kha! Kha tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Kha tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sharples lands a big elbow. Sharples controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sharples moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kha has worked his arm free - good work by Kha!
Sharples tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sharples has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kha is trying to escape the position but Sharples is controlling the position. Kha takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Kha wants to control but Sharples postures up. Kha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sharples. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sharples misses with the ground and pound. Kha trying to remain calm as Sharples controls from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sharples decides to take the fight back to the feet. Sharples throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sharples rushes Kha and presses him up against the cage. Sharples breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sharples has Kha up against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sharples escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sharples shoots in and gets a takedown into Kha's guard. Kha can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sharples controls the pace. Sharples decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kha, up you get! Kha closes the distance and clinches up with Sharples, looking for a takedown. Kha pushes Sharples against the cage but Sharples circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sharples decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kha trying to control but Sharples postures up.
Kha looks winded! Kha is defending against the submission attempts here by Sharples.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sharples thows a huge punch but Kha dodges it nicely.
Sharples missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sharples not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sharples trying to control the pace. Sharples has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sharples decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler James Sharples dominated that round. That's time! Sharples's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sharples closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Sharples thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kha's head. Kha wants to control but Sharples is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sharples moves nicely into side control. Sharples working the strikes but Kha uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Sharples stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Kha to get to his feet. Sharples is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kha can do to turn this around? Sharples shoots in and bounces Kha off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sharples trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kha can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sharples controls the pace. Sharples chips away with some ground and pound. Kha is working an open guard so Sharples takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A slapping leg kick lands for Sharples.
Sharples throws a leg kick which misses Kha's front leg but catches the back leg as Kha tries to avoid it. Sharples drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sharples is stalling in the full guard. Sharples passes Kha's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kha has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Jungle Room. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Kha is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kha avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sharples. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sharples in particular looking to stall. Sharples not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sharples keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Kha is in trouble now - Sharples has advanced to mount! Sharples is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kha. Sharples looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kha! Kha tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Sharples controls the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sharples looking to break Kha's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kha remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Sharples will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler James Sharples dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! A solid body kick from Sharples. Sharples closes the distance and clinches. Sharples stalling.
Sharples comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Sharples has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kha regains guard immediately. Sharples decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sharples throws a head kick that half lands.
Kha tries for a takedown but Sharples circles away easily and Sharples holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sharples breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kha takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sharples decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sharples decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Sharples moves into range and clinches up with Kha. Sharples escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sharples feints and as Kha raises his hands in defense, Sharples changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sharples lands a couple of elbows. Sharples is working Kha over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kha is rocked! Sharples sitting in guard here, content to control. Sharples stands and steps away. Kha gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sharples has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sharples turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sharples manages to end up in side control. Sharples is trying to get an arm triangle but Kha is defending well. Sharples looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sharples scoring with punches from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sharples takes a little break here. Kha wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Sharples decides to stand back up. Sharples is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kha's half guard. Sharples throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sharples slips a nice elbow through Kha's hands, connecting with Kha's forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kha is trying to escape back to his feet but Sharples uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Sharples wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kha, who protects the arm well. Kha trying to remain calm as Sharples controls from the top position. Sharples passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kha! Kha in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Sharples sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Un Kha has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tyler James Sharples is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sharples stands up from mount. Strange move.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyler James Sharples showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sharples has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
