The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

sanchez has Ratner up against the cage in a clinch.
sanchez connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Michael Ratner has been cut.
sanchez lands an elbow that stopped Ratner in his tracks for a moment.
sanchez wants a takedown.
Ratner wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
sanchez gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
sanchez throws a knee to the head but misses.

That has opened up Michael Ratner's cut even more.
sanchez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ratner has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ratner is looking for a takedown up against the cage. sanchez gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Ratner tries to improve position but can't.
Ratner throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ratner reaches up around sanchez's neck trying to control. But sanchez takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Ratner! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Ratner is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and sanchez celebrates the victory with the fans!
