Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Toshiro Hitsugaya (ranked 1065 p4p, 506 weight class) and Jeremy King (ranked 76 p4p, 39 weight class). King has chosen Hail to the King - Avenged Sevenfold as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Toshiro Hitsugaya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeremy King! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hitsugaya takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. King throws a looping overhand right but Hitsugaya ducks down to avoid it. King has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Hitsugaya digs a good body shot into King's ribs. Hitsugaya misses with a double jab.
A nice combination there by King.
Hitsugaya is rocked! Hitsugaya lands with a good body shot. Oh Hitsugaya is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Oh, that's a big right hand from King and Hitsugaya goes tumbling to the canvas! King follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! King is looking to take a break and control but Hitsugaya is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hitsugaya is trying to stand back up but King is controlling him
Hitsugaya seems to have got his legs back now. Hitsugaya on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hitsugaya tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hitsugaya is doing well to control the position and prevent King from advancing to side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hitsugaya wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nice defenses there by Hitsugaya. It looked like Hitsugaya wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Hitsugaya misses with a combination
and King counters with a lovely straight right hand! Toshiro Hitsugaya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. King uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hitsugaya. Hitsugaya feints a jab promting King to slip. Hitsugaya then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. King slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. King throws a hook but Hitsugaya blocks it. Hitsugaya is looking for a counter combo. Hitsugaya scores with a shot to the body.
Hitsugaya keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
King looks to land a combination but Hitsugaya avoids it well. Hitsugaya scores with a nice strike. This has been an exciting period of action! King closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King is looking to clinch. The fighters circling - Hitsugaya throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nice defenses there by King. Hitsugaya ducks down and throws a hook to the body. King misses with an uppercut. Hitsugaya rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and King counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hitsugaya throws an uppercut from half a mile away. King sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hitsugaya takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. King lands with a good body shot. Hitsugaya swings and misses with a hook to the body.
King swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Hitsugaya gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hitsugaya throws a looping overhand right but King ducks down to avoid it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from King! But no joy. Hitsugaya throws an uppercut from half a mile away. King sees it coming and avoids it easily. King throws a counter combo. Hitsugaya on the wrong end of a nice jab. Hitsugaya throws the left hand but King avoids the punch easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hitsugaya slips under a jab from King. Hitsugaya misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
Hitsugaya seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Hitsugaya takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. King scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Nice defenses there by Hitsugaya. A telegraphed right hand from King misses the target. King is looking to clinch but Hitsugaya is avoiding it.
King might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Hitsugaya connects with a body shot that sends King's belly button to the back. King tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. King missing with a left hand there. Hitsugaya was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hitsugaya throws a right and a left that both miss. Hitsugaya swings widly with a right hand
and King counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. King misses with a straight left. King cracks Hitsugaya with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hitsugaya tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but King pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hitsugaya is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremy King! During a confident post fight interview, Jeremy King thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
