Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mo Jassim (ranked 2052 p4p, 610 weight class) and Batara Sari (ranked 263 p4p, 78 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mo Jassim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Batara Sari!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sari stuffs the takedown attempt from Jassim. Jassim gets slowly back to his feet.
Jassim doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sari counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jassim has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jassim is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jassim wants to control but Sari is keeping busy.
Jassim wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sari with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jassim tries to roll over but Sari keeps him under control.

and Sari counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sari is looking to work some ground and pound but Jassim has wrist control.
Sari wants to control from the top but Jassim keeps moving.
Batara Sari has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sari stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jassim swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sari lands with an uppercut that bounces Jassim off the cage and back into range.

Sari thuds a left hand into Jassim's body.
Sari throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jassim tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sari defends well and Jassim ends up having to push Sari into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Sari is looking to control Jassim's arms but Jassim gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sari has his back to the cage.
Sari struggles to land a body shot inside as Jassim controls his hands.
Sari is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jassim is keeping busy.
Jassim gets control of Sari's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jassim will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Batara Sari showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Jassim fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sari avoids it really well and circles away.
Sari drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jassim defends it well.
Jassim shoots in looking for a takedown. Sari tries to sprawl out of it but Jassim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sari manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Batara Sari comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
