Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Las Vegas (ranked 1066 p4p, 2123 weight class) and Damien Johnson (ranked 56 p4p, 113 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Las Vegas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Damien Johnson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vegas sprawls well. Vegas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.
Vegas lands a right hook to the body.
Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Johnson misses with a straight left.
Vegas looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vegas bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Johnson's head backwards.
Vegas lands with an overhand left.

It looks like Damien Johnson has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vegas takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Vegas cracks Johnson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vegas has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Johnson to stand back up!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.
Johnson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Johnson looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vegas lands with an uppercut that bounces Johnson off the cage and back into range.

Johnson is rocked!
Vegas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Vegas.

Vegas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Vegas finish him?!
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Vegas finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Johnson leaves his chin hanging out and Vegas seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Johnson crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Las Vegas!
