Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Zema (ranked 4355 p4p, 4335 weight class) and Dong Hyun Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 502 weight class). Kim is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Danza Kuduro. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juan Zema! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dong Hyun Kim! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zema is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Zema throws a front kick that sends Kim stumbling back into the cage. Zema ducks under a wild hook from Kim. Kim has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Zema. Zema wants to clinch but Kim slips to the side so Kim counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Zema can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kim controls the pace. Kim stands and throws Zema's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kim looks up at the clock and then as Zema takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kim smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kim scoring with punches and elbows. Kim is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Zema will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Zema takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zema takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Kim is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Zema is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kim is chipping away with strikes.
Kim slows the pace down. Kim grinds an elbow into Zema's temple. Kim remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Let's hope that Kim has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. More stalling from Kim. Kim in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim in side control, just content to control the action for now. Zema takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kim controlling the position from side mount. Kim lands an elbow. Kim taking a breather here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zema is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Zema is letting Kim control him for a moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kim with more of the same as he continues to hold on. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dong Hyun Kim dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kim closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kim lands in his opponent's guard. Kim slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kim scoring with punches to the head and body. Zema will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zema is looking to stand up but Kim isn't so interested in that idea. Kim sitting in guard here, content to control. Kim landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Zema's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kim not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kim with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kim controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Zema is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kim is controlling him. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kim's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Zema really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kim passes into half guard. Kim perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kim connects with a nice short shot to Zema's temple. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim is taking a breather. Zema says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zema is rocked! Kim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kim perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Oh Zema is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kim scores with a big shot! Zema's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Zema! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
