Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zach Blackwood (ranked 4824 p4p, 5321 weight class) and Steven Garner (ranked 274 p4p, 290 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwood drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Blackwood tries for a kimura but Garner is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Check out the look on Blackwood's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Garner is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Blackwood working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Garner is looking to reverse the position.
Garner wants to control but Blackwood postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blackwood in side control lands a decent elbow.
Blackwood is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Garner has escaped the position, nice work there.
Garner tries to improve position but can't.
Blackwood has an Americana. Garner didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Blackwood is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Blackwood hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
