Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaven May Jr (ranked 2773 p4p, 2783 weight class) and Jero Wolf (ranked 340 p4p, 342 weight class). May Jr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is HonestKey- Self Discovery. Wolf has chosen Better Together as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaven May Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jero Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf uses good head movement to avoid the hook from May Jr.
Wolf looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Wolf closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wolf tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
May Jr's coaches at Temple of Fitness have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Wolf is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, May Jr has escaped the position, nice work there.

May Jr can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wolf controls the pace.

May Jr isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wolf stacks May Jr on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wolf!

Wolf looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks May Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Wolf drops an elbow to the side of May Jr's head.
Wolf takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

May Jr has hold of Wolf's hands but Wolf slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Wolf lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
May Jr tries to get to full guard but Wolf has control of the leg.
Wolf scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Wolf slips a nice elbow through May Jr's hands, connecting with May Jr's forehead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wolf connects with a nice short shot to May Jr's temple.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wolf thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wolf in particular looking to stall.
Wolf looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jero Wolf dominated that round.

No luck for Wolf with that takedown attempt.
A head kick by May Jr misses
and Wolf counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Wolf got a little sloppy there for a moment and May Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wolf has managed to get both his arms back between May Jr's legs - danger averted.

Jero Wolf bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
