Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam East (ranked 366 p4p, 881 weight class) and Hans Peter Baxxter (ranked 58 p4p, 125 weight class). Baxxter has chosen Weekend, Scooter as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
East lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Baxxter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from East.
East ducks right into an uppercut from Baxxter.
East takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Baxxter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

East throws a hook to the side of Baxxter's head but Baxxter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Baxxter lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
