Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Delta Davies (ranked 4406 p4p, 4403 weight class) and Marquez De Fuentino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marquez De Fuentino!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Fuentino has taken the fight to the clinch.
Davies is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
De Fuentino wants the takedown. Davies is fighting it off but De Fuentino persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Davies's guard against the cage.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - De Fuentino has eaten all the pies!
De Fuentino trying to control but Davies is working from the bottom.
De Fuentino wants to stand but Davies has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Davies will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Davies escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. De Fuentino gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davies is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. De Fuentino is aware though and is defending well.

Davies is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! De Fuentino has his hands clasped together but Davies extends and breaks De Fuentino's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Davies.
