Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chase Mizoguchi (ranked 4424 p4p, 4370 weight class) and Mansoor Jihadov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mizoguchi comes to the cage accompanied by Domestic . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chase Mizoguchi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mansoor Jihadov! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jihadov moves into the clinch. Jihadov softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Jihadov tries to land knees in the clinch but Mizoguchi avoids the damage to the body. Mizoguchi breaks from the clinch.
Jihadov fails with a takedown attempt. Jihadov with a lazy takedown attempt and Mizoguchi counters by clinching up. Mizoguchi is stalling here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mizoguchi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jihadov avoids it really well and circles away. Jihadov lands a jab-cross combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jihadov darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Jihadov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mizoguchi swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jihadov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Chase Mizoguchi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mansoor Jihadov. Jihadov ducks under a wild hook from Mizoguchi. Mizoguchi slips a jab and a cross from Jihadov.
As Jihadov looks to move away, Mizoguchi throws a big counter combo but Jihadov just gets out of the way. Mizoguchi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jihadov appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Jihadov moves in looking to clinch but Mizoguchi pushes him off. Jihadov gets tackled into the cage by Mizoguchi. Mizoguchi maintains the clinch. Jihadov prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mizoguchi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jihadov has a takedown stuffed. Mizoguchi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jihadov's guard. Mizoguchi scoring with punches to the head and body. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jihadov can do anything to dispel that myth. Mizoguchi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jihadov's guard. Jihadov keeping moving, preventing Mizoguchi from controlling successfully. Jihadov landing heel shots to his opponent's back. Mizoguchi not amused, grabs the leg and drops back, looking for a heel hook. Jihadov doesn't react quick enough and Mizoguchi cranks it - Jihadov screams in pain and taps out! That was a really quick submission! Impressive stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Chase Mizoguchi! Chase Mizoguchi decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
