Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alpha Adams (ranked 4397 p4p, 4394 weight class) and Onor McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alpha Adams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Onor McGregor! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams tries to keep at a distance but McGregor has taken the fight into the clinch. The referee calls for Adams to work.
McGregor lands with a short shot to the head. Adams tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McGregor just stands there and leans against the cage. Adams fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McGregor looking to throw knees to the head but Adams is blocking nicely.
McGregor connects with a knee to the head.
Adams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McGregor walks away with a smile on his face. Adams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alpha Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him. McGregor forces Adams back against the cage and clinches. McGregor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Adams is trying to maintain a safe position but McGregor gets an underhook and turns Adams into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGregor lands a knee to the head.

Adams is stalling in the full guard. Adams advances to half guard. McGregor missing with punches from the bottom.
Adams tries to pass the half guard into mount. McGregor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Adams wants to free his trapped foot but McGregor is holding on for dear life with his legs. Adams is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGregor is looking for a sweep. Adams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Adams wants to control but McGregor is keeping him busy. Adams throwing shots but McGregor is blocking nicely. Adams thows a huge punch but McGregor dodges it nicely.
Adams in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. McGregor tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Adams!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Alpha Adams!
