Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hrvoje Kovacevic (ranked 155 p4p, 338 weight class) and Killer Mike (ranked 22 p4p, 54 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Killer Mike was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mike misses the body punch
and Kovacevic counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mike thinking.
Kovacevic throws a hook but Mike blocks it.
Mike connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mike is looking to clinch but Kovacevic is avoiding it.
Kovacevic takes a swing at Mike's ribcage but misses.
Kovacevic fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Killer Mike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mike's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kovacevic under the eye.
Kovacevic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Kovacevic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

It looks like Killer Mike has been cut.

Mike catches Kovacevic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kovacevic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mike takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kovacevic lands a big uppercut and Mike crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mike looks OK. Kovacevic waves Mike back to his feet!
That has opened up Killer Mike's cut even more.
Kovacevic lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mike at a distance.
Kovacevic lands a jab to Mike's midsection.
Mike falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kovacevic counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A shot to the body from Mike misses
and Kovacevic scores with a counter punch that sends Mike to the canvas! Kovacevic smells blood - he's punishing Mike with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Mike has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hrvoje Kovacevic!
A relieved looking Hrvoje Kovacevic thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Killer Mike had this to say: 'Next fight imma kill someone'.
