Patterson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Quinn can pounce on him.
Quinn darts in looking for a takedown but Patterson gets double underhooks and turns Quinn into the cage.
Quinn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Quinn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Derek Patterson.
