Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romulus Gerber (ranked 1802 p4p, 2099 weight class) and Edward Mills (ranked 238 p4p, 283 weight class). Mills is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rock the Dragon. Dragonball Z. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Mills misses.
Gerber was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gerber takes one to the side of the head.
Mills swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gerber counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Edward Mills has been cut.
Edward Mills seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mills swings for the body but Gerber moves out of range.
Gerber tried to counter with a leg kick but Mills avoided it.
Gerber moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mills motions for Gerber to come forward. Mills throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mills misses with a two punch combination.

and Gerber connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Gerber throws a counter high kick but Mills was just alert enough to avoid it.
