Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Petrus Nekongo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Al Bundy!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Nekongo.
Bundy looks to land a left hand but Nekongo moved out of range nicely.
Bundy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nekongo momentarily.
Bundy misses with a left hand
and Bundy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nekongo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Bundy misses with a left hand
and Nekongo counters with a low kick, right behind Bundy 's knee.
Bundy swings widly with a right hand
and Nekongo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Al Bundy has been cut.
Bundy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bundy throws a sloppy body shot
and Nekongo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nekongo throws a leg kick which misses Bundy's front leg but catches the back leg as Bundy tries to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Nekongo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bundy misses with a lunging right hand
and Nekongo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nekongo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Bundy misses the target.
Nekongo swings for the body but Bundy moves out of range.
Bundy ducks under a wild hook from Nekongo.
Bundy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Nekongo pushes Bundy off looking to stand but Bundy dives back in and keeps control.
Bundy has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Nekongo has left one of his arms exposed and Bundy doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Nekongo screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Al Bundy!
