Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hercules Hoost (ranked 5848 p4p, 24319 weight class) and Haakon Cabrera (ranked 479 p4p, 509 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hercules Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Haakon Cabrera!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost forces Cabrera back against the cage and clinches.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cabrera creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Cabrera has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hoost is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cabrera has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've been told by Hoost's head coaches at Casa Steel that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
