PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Kamaka (ranked 3276 p4p, 2422 weight class) and Walter White (ranked 356 p4p, 287 weight class). Kamaka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Heartwork - Carcass. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Kamaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Walter White!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kamaka stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kamaka wants it to stay on the feet.
White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kamaka.
Kamaka misses with a body shot.
Kamaka misses the jab.
Kamaka has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
White lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Kamaka drives through and clinches with White against the cage.
Kamaka lands with a short shot to the head.
White fails to pull guard.
White content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Come on White - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Kamaka doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
White jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kamaka walks away with a smile on his face. White gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Joe Kamaka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walter White.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kamaka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but White was well out of range. Poor timing from Kamaka.
A clash of legs there as Kamaka blocks the low kick.
White tries to move into range but Kamaka moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kamaka throws a looping overhand right but White ducks down to avoid it.
White avoids the body shot from Kamaka.
White throws a hook but Kamaka blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kamaka moves out of range as White strikes.
White ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kamaka lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kamaka connects with a body shot.
White lands a jab to the head.
Kamaka takes one to the side of the head.
Kamaka scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kamaka throws a hook but White blocks it.
White throws a leg kick that misses.
Kamaka displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Walter White has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
White blocks a jab.
Kamaka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice jab there from White.
Kamaka throws a right hand that misses

and White counters with a takedown into side control.

White is trying to get an arm triangle but Kamaka is defending well.
Kamaka avoids any damage from the ground and pound of White.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White tries to score with some ground and pound. Kamaka controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Kamaka is looking for a sweep.
Kamaka on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kamaka tries to get out of the position.
Kamaka keeps White under control for a moment.
Kamaka trying to remain calm as White controls from the top position.
Kamaka is trying to control White's posture but White avoids it.
Kamaka gets back to half guard.
Well, if White is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
White winds up and cracks Kamaka with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
White missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White working the head and body with strikes.
Kamaka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
White slips a nice elbow through Kamaka's hands, connecting with Kamaka's forehead.
Kamaka pushes White off looking to stand but White dives back in and keeps control.
White works his foot free and advances to mount.
White cracks Kamaka with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
White wants to control the pace but Kamaka is squirming around nicely.
Kamaka keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
White tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
White breaks from Kamaka's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Kamaka is rocked!
White drops a big elbow. That's hurt Kamaka! More shots from White and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Walter White!
A relieved looking Walter White thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Joe Kamaka was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you to my opponent and all the fans, my coaches and sponsors.'.
