Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helio Karelin (ranked 4630 p4p, 24330 weight class) and Darragh Prendergast (ranked 190 p4p, 384 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helio Karelin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darragh Prendergast!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Prendergast bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Karelin's head backwards.
Karelin misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Prendergast to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karelin misses with a right hand
and Prendergast counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Prendergast lands a jab to the nose.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karelin swings widly with a right hand
and Prendergast counters with a nice uppercut.
Karelin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Karelin throws a right hand that misses
and Prendergast counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Karelin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Prendergast feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Karelins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Karelin misses with a right hand
and Prendergast cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Prendergast looks to land a left hand but Karelin moved out of range nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Karelin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Karelin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
And that's the end of the fight!
Darragh Prendergast comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Prendergast has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A relieved looking Darragh Prendergast thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
