Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam Gigolo (ranked 2362 p4p, 3954 weight class) and Jake Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Peterson's choice of entrance music: Berzerk by Eminem. Bam Bam Gigolo had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bam Bam Gigolo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gigolo slips a jab and a cross from Peterson.
Peterson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gigolo back to the cage. Peterson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A head kick by Peterson misses
and Gigolo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Peterson won't be happy with that.
Peterson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gigolo has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Gigolo tries to stand but Peterson is controlling his head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peterson is looking for a sweep.
Peterson is trying to escape the position but Gigolo is controlling the position.
Peterson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Gigolo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
It looks like Jake Peterson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peterson is looking to regain half guard here but Gigolo keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gigolo gets to mount! Peterson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Gigolo putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Gigolo scoring with strikes but Peterson is staying in there.

The cut above Jake Peterson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jake Peterson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
