Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blake Knight (ranked 4680 p4p, 2822 weight class) and Kyoshi Sun (ranked 523 p4p, 361 weight class). Knight comes to the cage accompanied by March Or Die. Blake Knight has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyoshi Sun!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight looks to throw the jab but Sun is out of range.
The fighters circling - Knight throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Knight throws a big shot that misses.

Sun slips a jab from Knight.
Knight throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sun appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Knight cracks Sun with a good jab.
Sun jabs Knight to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Knight tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sun was well out of range. Poor timing from Knight.

Blake Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sun tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knight was well out of range. Poor timing from Sun.
Knight doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Knight gets tackled into the cage by Sun. Sun maintains the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Sun.
A head punch on the inside from Sun fails to land.

Sun prevents a body shot from Knight.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Sun as Knight tries to tie him up.
Sun pushes Knight back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knight tries to circle away but Sun has him pinned against the cage.

Sun pushes Knight back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sun tries a body shot but Knight blocks it.
Knight is trying to maintain a safe position but Sun gets an underhook and turns Knight into the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Knight is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Sun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kyoshi Sun will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It seemed like Sun was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Sun in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Knight looks up at the clock. Bad move! Sun lands a right hand from hell, dropping Knight. Sun pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
