Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adel Sadeq (ranked 4610 p4p, 5976 weight class) and Dali Richmond (ranked 570 p4p, 626 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adel Sadeq! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dali Richmond! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richmond throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sadeq tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Richmond is in Sadeq's guard. Sadeq keeping moving, preventing Richmond from controlling successfully. Sadeq utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sadeq looking to hit a scissor sweep but Richmond is one step ahead there. Sadeq is pulling down on Richmond's head. It's preventing any offense from Richmond, at least for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richmond loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sadeq pulls Richmond in close to prevent any damage.

Richmond tries to stand but Sadeq controls the position and pulls Richmond into his guard. Richmond trying to control but Sadeq is working from the bottom. Richmond might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sadeq haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Richmond doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sadeq counters with a nice uppercut. Richmond shoots and misses and Sadeq counters with a three punch combo that has Richmond backing up. Richmond nods at Sadeq to acknowledge the strikes. Richmond shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sadeq defends it nicely. A little feinted left hand from Sadeq on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Dali Richmond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
